Day 10

The IJSO-2025 mission is completed! The participants of the IJSO International Junior Science Olympiad are going home. In just ten days, students from all over the world have become one big scientific family. They went through difficult tours together, shared their knowledge, and enjoyed their victories. The medals are now packed in the suitcases, but in their hearts they carry something much more important — a whole world of new friends and impressions.
"At the Olympics, I met many talented people from all over the world. Talking to them finally convinced me that I want to pursue physics in my life. My silver medal is a sign that I’m on the right track. However, winning is not a guarantee of success. More importantly, I’ve found like-minded people. Together we can do science and change the world. I can see myself as a physics teacher in the future. I want to share my knowledge with future generations," says Master Vivis Suppanchai, a participant from Thailand.
"These ten days have become the most unforgettable in my life. The most valuable thing I take away from here are the people I’ve met. It was my first international Olympiad, and it gave me great motivation to continue studying and participate again. Now I understand more clearly what to work on and what to strive for. And yes, I will try even harder to return to the IJSO next year — I am going for a medal. I wish only the best to all participants of the Olympiad! I really hope that we will meet again — in Sirius or somewhere else," Hamza Ali Guler from Iraq shared his impressions with us.
"It was an incredible experience for me. I met people from different countries — Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Colombia and many others. The Olympiad helped me understand what my current level of knowledge is and where I want to go next. Maybe I’ll become a surgeon in the future. I really hope to keep in touch with everyone. I believe that in 10 years, the participants of IJSO-2025 will become one of the most famous scientists in the world," said Hamdan Ishaq, a representative of the Pakistani national team.
IJSO-2025 is behind us. But this is just the beginning of new interesting ideas, cooperation and great friendship. We believe that you will all become excellent scientists, engineers, and doctors. You will definitely change our world for the better. Be proud of your achievements! See you soon!
